Remembering Fallen Police Officers and Staff

Recognition must include remembrance of people who lost their lives in public service and the families and colleagues who live with that loss.

The Police Digital Memorial

In 2026 the Police Arboretum Memorial Trust and Police Remembrance Trust launched a joint digital memorial bringing together the Police Roll of Honour, information about National Police Memorial Day and the UK Police Memorial at the National Memorial Arboretum.

The Roll of Honour records officers who lost their lives on and in the line of duty across the UK and Ireland, with historic coverage extending to the Republic of Ireland up to 1922.

The UK Police Memorial

The physical UK Police Memorial at the National Memorial Arboretum is a national place of remembrance for policing. The associated digital site also provides a tribute wall and educational material.
